Bengals Host Montana State on Senior Day

POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's basketball team plays its final home game of the 2015-16 season on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. in Reed Gym vs. Montana State. This will be the final home game for seniors Ben Wilson and Evann Hall. The two will be honored prior to the start of the game at 6:50 p.m. Saturday's game can be heard live on 101.1 KEIR. Series vs. Montana State
Montana State leads the series 106-84. ISU has won the last three meetings vs. the Bobcats in Pocatello and the series is knotted at 5-5 in the last 10 meetings. Montana State has won the last three meetings in Bozeman. The Bengals last victory at Montana State was 87-86 on Feb. 2, 2012.

Scouting  Montana  State
Montana State is 12-15 and 7-8 in league.  The Bobcats are scoring 76.1 points a game and giving up 78.2. MSU shoots .433 percent from the field and opponents are shooting .478 percent. MSU averages 37.4 rebounds and shoots .674 percent from the free throw line.  Tyler Hall leads the offensive attack at 18.7 points a game. Marcus Colbert is netting 16.4 points. Hall is scoring 20.6 points a game and averaging 5.1 rebounds in league.

Notes from the Loss to Montana
- Ethan Telfair had his fifth 30 point game of the season.
- Montana's 13 made 3-pointers was a season-high by a Bengal opponent.
-  Montana shot 54.2 percent from the three-point line (13-24), a season-high by a Bengal opponent.

Senior Highlights
Ben Wilson and Evann Hall are three-year Bengals. Wilson redshirted his first year before playing and starting in every game during the 2014-15 season. Last year he averaged 6.9 points and played a team-best 34.7 minutes a game while manning the point guard duties. This year he is averaging 6.9 points and a team-best 6.1 rebounds. Wilson had a career-high 15 points at Montana State last year and a career-best 13 rebounds vs. UT Rio Grande Valley. As a sophomore, Evann Hall had  a career-best19 points at Arizona State on Nov. 15, 2013. His career-best in rebounds is eight vs. Portland State on Jan. 12, 2014.

 The Bengals have made more throws than the 2014-15 team. This year ISU is 434-590 from the line and the 2014-15 team was 391-601. The 2013-14 team was 500-701 from the foul line.

Records Watch
The school record for most 3-pointers made in a season is 237 by the 2000-01 team. This year's Bengal team has hit 225. The school record for most 3-pointers attempted is 599 by the 2000-01 and the 2006-07 team. This year's team has attempted 596 3-pointers.

- Idaho State is 11-0 when shooting 45 percent or better from the field. ISU has shot better than 50 percent nine times, eight times coming in Big Sky Conference play.
