Bengals Play at Northern Colorado on Saturday

POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's basketball team plays at Northern Colorado on Saturday, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on 101.1 KEIR and Jerry Miller will call the action. For live stats, video and audio fans can log onto isubengals.com.

Idaho State leads the series 35-20. The two teams only met once last year in Greeley, with Northern Colorado coming out on top 79-76. ISU has won the last four meetings vs. Northern Colorado in Pocatello. The Bengals won 83-78 on Jan. 7, 73-70 on Feb. 6, 2014, 86-63 on Jan. 5, 2013 and 99-94 (2OT) on Jan. 26, 2012. Northern Colorado has won the last three meetings in Greeley. ISU's last win at Northern Colorado was 57-55 on Jan. 2, 2012.

Northern Colorado is 8-14 and 5-5 in Big Sky Conference play. Cameron Michael leads UNC in scoring at 16.8 points and Dallas Anglin is scoring 15.1 points, Jordan Wilson 14.5 and Anthony Johnson 14.2. Northern Colorado is scoring 75 points a game but giving up 80.2. The Bears are shooting .453 percent and opponents are shooting .469 percent from the field. In conference play, Wilson is scoring 14.9 points and Anglin is averaging 13.9 points a game. The Bears are scoring 75.5 points and giving up 77.5. Northern Colorado is shooting .468 percent in league play and averaging 36 rebounds a game.

Notes From the Loss at North Dakota
-Novak Topalovic played a season-high 20 minutes and tied his season high in free throws made and attempted by going 3-4.
- Clint Nwosuh made a season-best four free throws on four attempts.
- 30.6 percent shooting from the field was a season-low.
-  Thursday was te second time this year the line up of Ethan Telfair, Geno Luzcando, Ben Wilson, Stephen Lennox  and Kyle Ingram has been used.
- Idaho State's 5-4 mark in Big Sky play is the best since the 2007-08 team was 6-3 and the 2006-07 team started 7-4.

Starting Lineups
This year ISU coach Bill Evans has used eight different starting lineups this season. The only constant has been Geno Luzcando who has started every game. The line up of  Ethan Telfair, Geno Luzcando, Kyle Ingram, Ben Wilson and Ali Faruq-Bey has started eight games.

Telfair to the Line
Ethan Telfair has gone to the free throw line eight times or more in 12 games. In the last nine games he has gone 81-93 from the line. For the season he is the teams top free throw shooter at .844 percent (130-154).
