OGDEN, Utah- The Idaho State softball team lost to No. 1 Weber State 6-0 on Friday afternoon. The Bengals play Sacramento State in an elimination game on Saturday at 11 a.m.
Weber State held the Bengal offense to two hits, one by
Katelyn Marquez and one by
Maddy Hickman.
The Wildcats scored three runs in the first inning, two in the third and one in the fifth inning.
Weber State finished with 10 hits.
The winner of the Sacramento State and Idaho State game plays Weber State in the championship game at 1:30 p.m. The Hornets or Bengals will have to beat WSU twice in order to win the title.
