POCATELLO, Idaho- Idaho State opens the 2017-18 season on Friday, November 10 at 8 p.m. at Arizona State. Jerry Miller will call the action live on 102.5 KMGI with the pregame show starting at 7:30 p.m. The game will be televised live on the Pac 12 Network.

Scouting Arizona State
Arizona State finished the 2016-17 season 15-18 overall and 7-11 in Pac 12 play. ASU averaged 78.6 points a game and gave up 81.7 points. Tra Holder and Shannon Evans II are the top two returning scorers. Holder averaged 16.2 points a game while Evans netted 15 points a game. Arizona State coach Bobby Hurley is in his third year as head coach of the Sun Devils.

Series vs. Arizona State
Arizona State leads the series 4-1. The last meeting between the two schools was an 88-60 Sun Devil win on Nov. 13, 2013 in Tempe. ISU's only victory was 72-68 in 1958 in the NCAA tournament at Cal Berkeley.

Returning Scorers
While Idaho State loses Ethan Telfair's 17.5 points per game averages, the Bengals still return 61.5 percent of its scoring from last season. The returning leading scorers are Brandon Boyd (12.4), Geno Luzcando (10.6), Novak Topalovic (10.2) and Balint Mocsan (5.4).
