POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's basketball team plays its final two road games of the 2016-17 season on Thursday, Feb. 23 at Idaho and Saturday, Feb. 25 at Eastern Washington. Tipoff is at 8 p.m. mountain at Idaho and 2 p.m. mountain at Eastern Washington on Saturday.

Scouting Idaho
Idaho is 13-12 and 8-6 in Big Sky Conference play. Victor Sanders leads UI in scoring with an average of 21.2 overall and 24.4 points in league play. Brayon Blake is scoring 10.5 points overall and averaging 6.8 rebounds. In conference play Blake is scoring 10.5 and bringing down 6.9 rebounds. Idaho is scoring 73 points a game and giving up 71.9. In league play UI is scoring 75.4 points. The Vandals are shooting .431 percent from the field, .356 from the three-point line and .717 percent from the free throw line. Idaho averages 36.7 rebounds, 12.8 assists, 12.9 turnovers and 5.2 steals a game.
Series vs. Idaho
Idaho leads the series 59-45. Idaho won the only meeting of the year last season in
Moscow, 82-68. The teams split the series during the 2014-15 year, winning 67-65 in
Pocatello and losing 77-54 at Idaho. Idaho has won two straight in Moscow. ISU's last win at Idaho was 71-69 during the 2007-08 season.
Series vs. Eastern Washington
Eastern Washington leads the series 45-29. ISU won the only meeting of the year last
season, winning 75-71 at Eastern. Eastern Washington swept the series during the
2014-15 season, winning 85-81 in Pocatello and 65-57 in Cheney. The Bengals beat the
Eagles 83-72 on Jan. 4, 2014 in Pocatello.
Notes from Saturday's Northern Colorado Game

Ethan Telfair had a season-high 28 points. His 10 field goals made was a season-high.

Robert Jones III tied his career-high with 22 points but he made a career-high six 3-pointers on seven attempts.
- Northern Colorado's 14 3-pointers ties for the most ISU has given up this year. The Bengals gave up 14 vs. Northern Arizona on Feb. 2 and Weber State on Jan. 25.

Ethan Telfair moved into 18th place on the ISU career scoring list. He has 1,045 points and Matt Stucki currently ranks 17th with 1,079.
