POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State softball team returns home to host North Dakota April 7-8 at Miller Ranch Stadium. Friday's start time is now 10:30 a.m. for game 1 and game 2 will be played 20 minutes after game 1. Saturday's game is still scheduled for 12 p.m. Weather permitting all three games will be video streamed live online at isubengals.com. Games 1 and 3 of the series will be broadcasted on KISU and streamed online weather permitting. Live stats will also be available.
Scouting North Dakota
North Dakota is 13-23 and 1-5 in Big Sky play. The Fighting Hawks played South Dakota State Wednesday afternoon. Rachael Waynick leads the UND Offense with a .387 average. Taylor Nadler is hitting .273 with six homer runs and 21 RBIs. The team has a .228 batting average. In the circle the team has a 4.09 era and Kaylin VanDomelen has a 2.22 era with a 6-11 record. Idaho State leads the series 10-1. The Bengals have won six straight. ISU's only loss was 6-5 in 2014.

Kacie Burnett and
Emma Bordenkecher are the first two Bengals to earn Big Sky Player of the Week honors this season. In the series win over Portland State, Bordenkecher hit .667 in nine at bats. She scored six runs and had six hits with eight RBIs in addition to hitting three home runs over the series. Over last week's five games, Bordenkecher hit .583 with 12 at bats, scoring six runs with seven hits, three home runs and eight RBIs. She finished with a 1.500 slugging percentage and a .615 on base percentage.
Burnett earned the honor after hitting .700 on a weekend ISU went 3-2 at the Colorado State Classic. She was 14-20 at the plate, scoring seven runs, with seven RBIs, two doubles and one triple.
