Bengals Close Out Regular Season at Montana State and Montana

POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's basketball team closes out the regular season on March 1 at Montana State and March 3 at Montana.  Tip time at Montana State is 7:30 p.m. and the Montana game begins at 7 p.m.  Jerry Miller will call both games begining with the pregame show 30 minutes prior to tipoff.  To follow both games online with live video, audio and stats fans can log onto isubengals.com.

Scouting Montana State
Montana State is 13-16 and 6-10 in Big Sky Conference play. Tyler Hall leads the Bobcats in scoring at 18.1 points a game. He is shooting .409 percent from the field and .367 percent from the three-point line. Harald Frey is scoring 13.9 points a game.  MSU is scoring 75.5 points a game and giving up 77.7. The Bobcats shoot .423 percent from the field, .345 percent from the three-point line and .733 percent from the free throw line. MSU averages 36.1 rebounds, 12.1 assists, 12.6 turnovers, 5.6 steals and 2 blocks a game.

In conference play Hall is scoring 18.7 points a game while Frey is netting 13.2. MSU scores 74.2 points a game in league and gives up 79.6. The Bobcats shoot .419 percent from the field, .335 percent from the three-point line and .753 percent from the foul line.

Notes Following the Loss to Eastern Washington
- Novak Topalovic wore No. 35 in honor of fellow teammate and senior Kyle Ingram who has missed a majority of the season due to injury.
- Although Kyle Ingram is unable to play he was still able to be recognized during the starting lineups. Erik Nakken, Hayes Garrity also started with Geno Luzcando. It was the ninth different starting lineup of the season.
- ISU has shot 50 percent or better from the field in five of the last seven games.
- ISU has shot 50 percent or better from the three-point line in three of the last four games.
- Hayes Garrity played a season-high 16 minutes and scored five points.
