Game 18: Idaho State at Montana State

POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's basketball team plays at Montana State on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 2 p.m. The game will be broadcasted at 102.5 KMGI with Jerry Miller calling the game. To follow the game online with live video, audio and video at isubengals.com.

Following Saturday's game, the Bengals host Sacramento State on Jan. 31 and Portland State on Feb. 2 in Holt Arena. Both games begin at 7 p.m.

Scouting Montana State
Montana State is 7-11 and 4-4 in Big Sky Conference play. Montana State scores 75.7 points a game and gives up 80.6. The Bobcats shoot .441 percent from the field and .356 percent from the three-point line. MSU is led in scoring by Tyler Hall's 20.2 points a game and Harold Fray's 14.6. Keljin Blevins scores 11.1 points a game and averages 5.7 rebounds.

In conference play, the Bobcats score 81.8 points a game and give up 76.5. Hall is scoring 21.3 points in league and Fray is scoring 16.9 points a game.  MSU shoot .721 percent from the free throw line in conference play.

Recapping Montana
- Brandon Boyd led Idaho State with 16 points and five assists. Balint Mocsan had 13 points while Alonzo Walker had 10 points and five rebounds and Gary Chivichyan had 10 points and a career-high seven rebounds.
- Idaho State shot 43.4 percent from the field and made 15-20 from the free throw line. The Bengals made eight 3-pointers on 23 attempts and was out rebounded 37-36. Chier Maker had a team-high eight boards.
- The Bengals turned the ball over 16 times while the Griz were only forced into nine turnovers.
