POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State volleyball team swept Montana in a 3-0 match victory on Oct. 17 in Missoula, Mont.
The first set was back and forth until the Bengals broke away with a 25-22 victory. The Bengals out-killed the Grizzlies in the first set, 15-13, averaging a .229 hitting percentage. Senior

The second set ended 25-23 in favor of the Bengals to give them a 2-0 lead. ISU out-killed Montana 14-13 in the second set.
The Bengals led Montana throughout the third set leading them to a 25-20 third set victory and a 3-0 match sweep over the Grizzlies. Idaho State held a ten-point lead during the set. Junior

Taylor Meeks recorded four-consecutive blocks in the third set.
"I really liked the way we competed tonight," Head Coach
Sammi Stuart said. "We came out with a good game plan and stayed on task."
Meeks tallied a season-high .471 hitting percentage, a three-set match-high ten kills, and six blocks. Pehrson finished with ten kills, three blocks, and a .444 hitting percentage.
Idaho State recorded 40 kills, a .212 hitting percentage, 36 digs, and nine blocks in the match.

Haylie Keck is 299 digs away from becoming the All-Time dig leader in the Big Sky Conference. She currently has 2,057 digs and Kristin Lutes (Sac State, 2003-06) holds the record with 2,355 digs.
Idaho State stays in Montana to face Montana State on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. (MST) in Bozeman, Mont.
