POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State soccer team continues conference play this week with two away games against Northern Colorado (Oct. 4) at 7 p.m. (MST) in Greeley, Colo. and Montana (Oct. 6) at 1 p.m. (MST) in Missoula, Mont. Northern Colorado
Northern Colorado has compiled a 2-8-3 overall record and is 0-0-2 in conference play with draws against Eastern Washington (1-1) and Idaho (1-1). The Bears average .85 goals per match with a .485 shot on goal percentage.
Idaho State holds a 6-7-1 record against UNC. The last match-up was in favor of the Bears, 5-0 in 2018. The Bengals last defeated UNC in 2017 (2-1) and 2016 (6-2).
In the 2018 season, they compiled a 12-8-1 overall record and went 6-2-1 in conference. The Bears made it to the title game for the second-straight season.
University of Montana
Montana has recorded a 2-5-3 overall record and is 1-0-0 in conference play with a victory over Idaho (1-0). Their match vs. Eastern Washington will be rescheduled for a later date.
With an average of 8 shots per game, the Grizzlies average a .500 shot on goal percentage for .4 goals per game.
Idaho State holds a 8-13-4 record against Montana since 1998. The last match-up was in favor of the Grizzles in 2018 (1-0). The Bengals last victory over Montana was in 2017 (1-0).
The program finished the 2018 season with a 7-9-6 overall record and 3-2-4 in conference play.
