POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State soccer team continues their 2019 campaign this week with two away games against Gonzaga on Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. (MST) in Spokane, Wash. and Utah State on Sept. 22 at 1 p.m. (MST) in Logan, Utah.

Gonzaga
Gonzaga has compiled a 6-2 record in the 2019 season. The team fell to #19 Texas (4-3) and #17 Washington State (1-0) in overtime while recording victories against Sam Houston (2-1) in overtime, Colorado State (2-1), Montana (1-0), Seattle (4-0), Kansas State (3-2), and Nebraska (2-1). The Bulldogs have recorded 17 goals in eight games for an average 1.67 goals per game with a .512 shot on goal percentage.
Idaho State holds a 1-4-2 record against Gonzaga with their last match up ending in a 0-0 tie in double overtime in 2008. The last time the Bengals defeated the Bulldogs was 3-2 victory in 2000.
Utah State
Utah State has recorded a 4-3 record in the 2019 season. The team fell to South Dakota State (1-0), Utah (3-0), and Illinois State (2-1) while picking up a victories against South Dakota (1-0), Weber (2-1) in double overtime, Marquette (5-1) and Illinois-Chicago (1-0). With an average of 10.4 shots per game, Utah State averages a .521 shot on goal percentage.
Idaho State holds a 7-10-1 record against Utah State. The last match-up was in 2018 with a 5-4 Bengal victory in double overtime.
