Soccer Preview: Boise State and Wyoming

Game Notes

POCATELLO, Idaho-
Idaho State soccer hosts Boise State on Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. on the ICCU Practice Field outside of Holt Arena. The Bengals then travel to Laramie, Wyoming to face Wyoming on Sept. 8 at 1 p.m. (MST).

Admission to Friday's match vs. Boise State is $7 for adults, $5 for kids, and free for ISU students. Tickets are available at the southwest corner ticket booth, doors 10-11, at Holt Arena. The pass list will be at the gate. Fans will sit on the east side of the field. 

Live Stream of the match will be available on Pluto TV channel 543, live stats and audio brought to you by KISU 91.1 will also be available.

Boise State
Boise State has started its 2019 season with a 3-0 record with victories against Idaho (1-0), Eastern Washington (5-2), and New Mexico State (4-0).  The Broncos average 3.33 goals per game and 16.7 shots per game for a shots on goal average percentage of .500. Boise has defeated the Bengals the last three times the teams have matched-up. ISU's last victory over Boise State was 2-1 in overtime in 2013. In 2015, they tied 1-1 in double overtime.
 
Wyoming
Wyoming has started the season 1-0-2. The Cowgirls tied UTEP 2-2 during their first match and then tied New Mexico State, 1-1. Their first victory was over Northern Colorado, 3-2. The team faces Baylor on Sept. 6 before hosting Idaho State. They average two goals per game off of 9.3 attempts per game to average a .679 shot on goal percentage.
