POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's basketball team made quick work of the SAGU American Indian College on Friday night in Reed Gym, winning 113-46. The 67 point win tied for the largest margin of victory in school history. The 113 points tied for the ninth most points scored in program history.
The game was never in question as Idaho State opened the game with a 30-4 lead in the first 10 minutes. Idaho State was 12-13 from the field in the first 12 minutes of the game to extend their lead to 35-8.
In the first half, the Bengals were 19-26 from the field (73 percent) while SAGU was held to 20 percent shooting.
The Bengals led 59-15 at halftime. Idaho State led by as many as 73 points at 113-38 late in the game.
 Idaho State shot 62.5 percent for the game (40-64) and tied the school record for most 3-pointers made in a game with 17.
The Bengals out rebounded SAGU 51-22
Robert Ford III had a team-best 16 rebounds and scored 26 points on 8-8 shooting from the field. He was 5-5 from the three-point line.
ISU had six players in double figures.
Brayden Parker had 19 points and 10 rebounds.
Daxton Carr had 17 points while
Tarik Cool,
Austin Smellie and
Malik Porter each had 10 points.
Idaho State had 22 assists to only 10 turnovers. Smellie led the Bengals with six assists.

Idaho State begins Big Sky Conference play on Dec. 22 and 23 with games at Northern Colorado. Both games begin at 2 p.m.

- The 67 point win tied for the largest margin of victory in program history. On Dec. 12, 1952 Idaho State beat Colorado Mines 100-33.
- Robert Ford's 5-5 from the three-point line tied the school record for best three-point field goal percentage with a minimum of five made. Doug D'Amore was 8-8 at Montana State in 2004 and D.Marr Suggs was 5-5 at Montana in 2001.
