POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's basketball team plays its first game since Nov. 28 when it plays at Utah on Dec. 8. Tipoff is at 4 p.m. on the Pac 12 Network.

Utah leads the series 22-3. Utah has won the last five meetings with the most recent meeting being a 102-72 Ute win on Nov. 27, 2015. Idaho State beat Utah 72-68 in Pocatello during the 2008-09 season.

Recapping Opening Weekend
The Bengals had a tough opening weekend at Santa Clara. The Bengals lost 62-49 to Santa Clara, 70-51 to Nicholls State and 70-61 to UC Davis. The Bengals were outscored 67.3-53.6. The Bengals shot only .377 percent from the field while opponents shot .458 percent. ISU struggled taking care of the ball as it combined for 69 turnovers.
Tarik Cool led the Idaho State scoring with an average of 11.7 points in the three games.
Malik Porter averaged 9.7 points and six rebounds.
