POCATELLO, Idaho- Idaho State softball is back in action this week in the Colorado State Classic, March 6-8, in Fort Collins, Colo.

On March 6, the Bengals will take on Kennesaw at 9 a.m. (MST) and Purdue at 11:15 a.m. (MST). On March 7, ISU will face Purdue against at 11 a.m. (MST) before facing Colorado State at 3:45 p.m. (MST). They will finish the tournament against Kennesaw on March 8 at 10 a.m. (MST).

All games will have live stats available while the game against CSU will also feature
live video streaming.
"It was good having a weekend off and working hard on things the last two weeks," said Head Coach
Cristal Brown. "We're excited to get back on the field and compete."

Kennesaw | 2020 KSU Season Stats
The Owls are 17-3 to start the 2020 season after finishing 26-29 overall and 10-11 in the Atlantic Sun Conference last season.

The game will mark the first time the two teams have met.

Purdue | 2020 Purdue Season Stats
Purdue finished the 2019 season with a 34-29 record while going 6-17 in the Big Ten Conference. They are 14-6 so far this season.

ISU leads the all-time series, 2-1. The Bengals defeated the Boilermakers twice in 2018, 3-0 and 6-1. Purdue last defeated ISU in 2007, 8-0.

CSU | 2020 CSU Season Stats
CSU is 9-9 so far in the 2020 season after playing four nationally ranked teams: No. 6 Texas (L, 12-3), No. 12 Tennessee, (L, 6-4), No. 4 LSU (L, 6-2), and No. 13 Michigan (L, 1-0). The Rams finished the 2019 season with a 39-12 record while taking a first place finish in the Mountain West Conference after going 18-6 in conference. CSU went 1-2 in the NCAA Tournament, falling to No. 24 Auburn (10-5) before defeating Harvard (6-0). They would fall to No. 24 Auburn (8-0) once again to end their season.

CSU leads the all-time series, 6-1. The Rams have defeated ISU in the last six match-ups, with three of them ending in a five-inning run rule. The teams last matched-up in 2019 with the Rams taking a 16-0 victory. ISU last defeated CSU in 2016, 11-7.
