POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's basketball team closes out the regular season at Eastern Washington on Thursday, March 5 at 7 p.m. and at Idaho on Saturday, March 7. Tipoff in Moscow is at 3 p.m. mountain time.

The Bengals beat the Eagles 75-69 on Dec. 30. It was the first victory over Eastern Washington in five tries. Idaho State has won the last four meetings over the Vandals. The Bengals won 62-60 earlier in the year and last year ISU beat Idaho 72-55 in Moscow.
Following Saturday's game in Moscow, the Bengals head to Boise for the Big Sky Conference tournament. Idaho State will be the No. 10 or 11 seed and play on Wednesday.
Scouting Eastern Washington
Eastern Washington is 21-8 and 14-4 in Big Sky play. The Eagles average 80.4 points a game and allow 72.9 points. Eastern Washington shoots .456 percent from the field, .346 percent from the three-point line and .694 percent from the free throw line. EWU averages 38.3 rebounds, 17.1 assists, 12 turnovers, 7.1 steals and 3.7 blocks a game.
Jacob Davison leads the Eagles in scoring with an average of 18.1 points a game. Mason Peatling scores 17.4 points and shootings 55.4 percent from the field. Kim Aiken scores 13.5 points a game and averages 9.8 rebounds. Peatling averages 9.1 rebounds a game.
