POCATELLO, Idaho- Idaho State's defensive line got an added boost when
Rasheed Williams was officially granted an extension on his eligibility for the 2020 season this week.
Williams started as a freshman in 2015 and had 52 tackles and 8.5 tackles for loss. He missed the 2016 season due to injury. As a sophomore in 2017 he appeared in all 11 games and had 29 tackles and 5.5 tackles for loss.
Williams played early in the 2018 season before missing the remainder of the year due to injury. He was unable to return to the field until late in the 2019 season.
"We are excited to have Rasheed back for next season," Idaho State coach
Rob Phenicie said. "He has worked hard to return to the field and we are excited that he will have a chance to show his talents this fall."
