POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's basketball team lost 69-43 to Portland State on Saturday afternoon at Viking Pavilion in Portland, Ore. The Vikings led the entire game and led by as many as 26 points.
Idaho State had three players score 10 points in
Brayden Parker,
Tarik Cool and Robert Ford III. Idaho State shot 27.7 percent for the game, making only 13 field goals on 47 attempts.
The Bengals were out rebounded 41-30. Ford had a team-best eight.
Portland State shot 44 percent from the field for the game and led 37-26 at halftime.
Idaho State now begins a stretch of six straight home games beginning Thursday, January 28 vs. Southern Utah. During the six-game homestand the Bengals play two games vs. SUU, two vs. Eastern Oregon and two vs. Idaho.
