POCATELLO, Idaho – The Idaho State volleyball team fell to Weber State 3-0 (19-25, 18-25, 12-25) Tuesday evening in Ogden, Utah.
The first two sets were near carbon copies of one another. The young Bengal squad held tough with the defending Big Sky Champions for the first 10 points before the wildcats were able to go on runs. After earning the sideout the two teams continued to battle back and forth with 13 tie score and seven lead changes with WSU eventually winning the sets.
The Wildcats were able to closeout the match in the third set and win the match 3-0.
Raegan Kunz led the Bengals offensively in the match with seven kills and two blocks.
Aliya Sopoaga and Andri Dewey both had double-digit assists with 13 and 10 respectively.
The Bengals are back at home Friday evening when they host the University of Northern Colorado at 6:00 p.m. in Reed Gym.
