POCATELLO, Idaho – Idaho State women's basketball fell to Toledo 79-58 in Cancun, Mexico.
The Bengals played back and forth for the first half of the game. After initially getting out scored 4-14. The Bengals clawed back in the first half. Dora Goles hit a three at the end of the first half to cut the Rocket's lead to seven heading into the locker room.
With 9:20 to play in the second, Estefania Ors recorded her second rebound of the game. Ors is now the 15th player in ISU WBB history to have over 1,000 points and 500 rebounds. Ors is sitting at 1396 points and 501 rebounds in her career.
The Rockets came out in the second half and outscored the Bengals 22-9 in the third quarter. This gave Toledo the lead that they carried to the end of the game.
At the end of the fourth, the Rockets came away with the 79-58 victory.
Dora Goles led the Bengals in scoring with 16 points.
Callie Bourne had 15 points on six-of-11 from the field. Bourne also had eight boards, two assists and a steal.
The Bengals are right back at it taking on UCF tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. MST
