Bengals Close Out Exhibition Play With a Win over Life Pacific

POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's basketball team beat Life Pacific 76-52 on Friday evening in Reed Gym. The game was the final exhibition contest for the Bengals.

Idaho State led 41-33 at halftime but outscored Life Pacific 35-19 in the second half. The Bengal defense held Life Pacific to 23 percent shooting in the second half and 35.1 percent for the game.

Idaho State led by as many as 32 points in the second half. Robert Ford III led the Idaho State scoring with 18 points on 6-11 shooting. Tarik Cool scored 17 points.

Idaho State had 15 players play nearly three minutes or more and 10 players scored. The Bengals out rebounded Life Pacific 46-32 with Malik Porter leading the way with seven.

Idaho State opens regular season play on Nov. 9 vs. Eastern Oregon at 7 p.m. in Reed Gym.
