POCATELLO, Idaho-The Idaho State men's tennis team lost 7-0 to BYU on Saturday afternoon in Provo.
The Bengals earned a win at No. 1 doubles as
Patrik Trhac and
Aleksander Petrovic beat Jack Barnett and Mateo Melendez, 6-1
At No. 3 doubles
Gary Rendek and
Jaime Castillo-Lopez lost a tough 7-6 contest.
At No. 2 doubles,
Hiroki Fujita and
Robert Steinhauser lost 6-4 to Ben Garjardo and Mathheus Leite.
In singles play, Trhac lost 7-6, 6-4 at No. 1 singles. Petrovic lost 6-0, 6-4. Fujita lost 6-1, 7-6 at No. 3 singles and Steinhauser lost 6-1, 7-5 at No. 4 singles.
Castillo-Lopez and Rendek lost their mataches 6-1, 7-6 and 6-4, 7-6.
The Bengals travel to Boise Feb. 19-20 for matches vs. Boise State and George Fox.
