Bengal Soccer to Host Northwest Nazarene Friday

POCATELLO, Idaho – The Idaho State soccer team officially opens the 2021 spring season this week against the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks. The Game will start at 1 p.m. on the ICCU Practice field.

Scouting Northwest Nazarene

The Nighthawks are 1-0 following a 2-1 OT win against the College of Idaho.

NNU is led by Carolyn Moravec who has two points on the season and two shots on goal.

Two Nighthawks lead the team with three shots apiece, Moravec and Sierra Sanchez.

In their win against the College of Idaho, the Nighthawks led the teams with seven corner kicks and also out-fouled the Yotes 7-1.

 

All-Time Series vs NNU

This will be the second time in ISU history that the Bengals have faced the Nighthawks. ISU is currently 1-0 all-time against NNU.

Recap: Exhibition vs The College of Idaho

The Idaho State soccer team faced off against the College of Idaho in an exhibition match. The teams battled to a 3-3 tie after two overtimes. 

The Bengals out-shot the Yotes 20-13.
