POCATELLO, Idaho – The Idaho State Bengal volleyball team returns home this weekend to face the Northern Colorado Bears. Game one starts at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 28 and Game two is Monday, Mar. 1 at 6 p.m.

Scouting Northern Colorado
The Bears are 7-3 following a two-loss series against Weber State.
UNC is currently leading the conference in assists with 445 and kills with 496. The Bears are averaging 13.05 kills per set.
UNC's Lauren Hinrichs is currently No. 3 in the conference in hitting percentage at .333.

The Bengals are No. 4 in the conference in Blocks averaging 2.36/set.
Andri Dewey leads the conference in service aces with 25 averaging 0.58/set.
Taylor Meeks leads the team in hitting percentage at .291 and is No. 3 in the conference in blocks with 49 averaging 1.29/set.
Kennedee Tracy leads the team with 122 kills averaging 2.9/set.

Previous Series vs Montana State
Game 1 – Box Score
The Idaho State volleyball team dropped a tough five-set match against the Montana State Bobcats 3-2 (25-23, 21-25, 20-25, 25-16, 10-15).
In the 5th, the Bengals and Bobcats traded points until after an 8-8 tie MSU was able to pull away and win the Set 15-10 and the match 3-2. Â
The Bengals hit .169 on the night. Taylor Meeks lead the team with 14 Kills. Sadie Gardner followed with 11 kills and Kennedee Tracy with 10.
The Bengals out blocked the Bobcats lead by Meeks' eight blocks.
ISU had another strong night from the service line with eight service aces to MSU's four. Andri Dewey led the team with five and Mahala Bradburn followed with two.

Game 2 – Box Score
The Idaho State volleyball team fell to Montana State in 5 Sets (22-25, 25-19, 21-25, 25-22, 7, 15) Sunday night in Bozeman.
The Bengals finished the night hitting .167 to Montana State's .186.
Three Bengals had double-digit kills. Kennedee Tracy led the team with her second double-double of the season with 12 kills and 12 digs. Sadie Gardner recorded her first double-double of the year with 10 kills and 14 digs.
Kaia Rhodes hit .318 for the game with 10 kills on 22 attacks.
"Our team keeps battling and competing," said Head Coach Sammi Stuart. "I'm happy with how we continue to hone our process"
The game started with a close 22-25 Set 1 loss. The Bengals bounced back and hit .389 in the second set while holding the Bobcats to .097 to win Set 2, 25-19.
After dropping a close Set 3, the Bengals came back to win Set 4, 25-22. During the Set, the Bengals showed their defensive strength, holding the Bobcats to a .000 hitting percentage and out-blocking MSU five to two. For the second game in a row, the Bengals forced a fifth set against the Bobcats.
In the fifth, the Bengals traded points with the Bobcats until after a 3-3 tie, the Bobcats were able to pull away and eventually win the set 15-7 and the match 3-2.
The Bobcats just edged out the Bengals 12-11 in blocks. Taylor Meeks lead the team with eight blocks. Raegan Kunz had six and Rhodes followed with four.
