POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's tennis team opened Big Sky Conference play with a 6-1 loss to Northern Arizona on Friday afternoon in Flagstaff, Ariz.
The Bengals won the doubles point as
Patrik Trhac and
Aleksander Petrovic won 6-4 at No. 1 doubles. Wikkus Robbertse and
Robert Steinhauser won 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.
Gary Rendek and
Jaime Castillo-Lopez were a head in their match 4-3 when it was called once ISU won the doubles point.
NAU would sweep singles play.
Idaho State hosts Montana at 11 a.m. on April 4 in Reed Gym. The Bengals then host Sacramento State on April 10 before finishing conference play at Weber State on April 14.
