POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State women's tennis team lost 5-2 to Northern Arizona on Friday afternoon in Flagstaff, Ariz.
"It was such a good battle today," Idaho State coach
Gretchen Maloney said. "I am really proud of our doubles play and our fight in singles. We just need to be a bit more steady on the big points."
Idaho State won the doubles point as Lola and
Sol O'Lideadha won 7-6 at No. 3 doubles.
Angela Walker and
Hana Cho won 7-5 at No. 2 doubles.
In singles play, the lone victory came when Walker earned a 6-2, 4-6, 1-0 (10-8) win at the No. 6 position.
Lola O'Lideadha lost at No. 5 singles in a tough three set match.
Idaho State plays at Weber State on April 2 and then closes out regular season play hosting Sacramento State on April 10.
