Soccer Travels to the Aloha State for Two-Game Trip

POCATELLO, Idaho – Idaho State soccer is in the Aloha State this weekend as they continue their non-conference schedule. The Orange and Black face off against South Dakota State and The University of North Texas over the course of the weekend.

All-Time Series Results and Quick Scout – South Dakota State

The Bengals and Jackrabbits have faced off twice in the history of the program.

The Jackrabbits lead the all-time series 2-0 with the previous win coming in August of 2019.

·        The jackrabbits are 2-0 on the season after picking up wins against Augustana and UT-RGV.

·        They are led offensively by Maya Hansen who has eight shots on the season with two goals and three assists. five of her shots are on goal for a .625 SOG%

·        Taylor Lock and Jocelyn Tanner have combined in goal for 8 saves and have only allowed one goal

All-Time Series Results and Quick Scout – North Texas

This will be the first time that the Bengals and North Texas have faced off.

·        UNT is led by graduate transfer Sarah Fuller who made history this past season as the first woman to kick in a power-5 football game. Currently this season, fuller is 2-0 with 2 saves and 0 goals allowed.

·        Offensively, the mean green is led by Taylor Tufts, who has 10 shots on the season and 2 goals with 3 assists. six of those shots have been on goal for a .600 SOG%.

·        UNT finished the spring season 7-3-1 and made it to the first round of the C-USA tournament.
