POCATELLO, Idaho- The first-place Weber State Wildcats beat the Idaho State men's basketball team 95-63 on Thursday night at the Dee Events Center in Ogden.
The Bengals shot 40 percent for the game while the Wildcats shot 55 percent. Weber State shot 51 percent in the first half and 60 percent in the second half.
Liam Sorensen had a career-high 16 points to lead the Bengals.
Emmit Taylor III had 10 points off the bench. The Bengals were outrebounded 39-33 and had 15 turnovers.
Idaho State plays at Southern Utah on Saturday at 2 p.m.
