Coach Downey's Thoughts
Was great to score first today, and get on the board. We've been looking for someone to step up and put one in the back of the net, so kudos to Meagan for making that happen today.
The girls played hard until the final whistle, and gave a full effort for 90 minutes. I feel for them in that it's another game without a positive result.
It's difficult to keep losing matches in this fashion, but I'm optimistic in this program and what we're working towards.
Ultimately, we have to find a way to piece together a full 90 minutes. Right now we're performing really well in long spurts, but it's the little spurts that are detrimental in the final result of the game.
