Bengals Host Montana State Monday at 6 p.m.

POCATELLO, Idaho- Idaho State returns to action on Monday, February 7 for a 6 p.m. contest vs. Montana State in Reed Gym. Jerry Miller will call the game live on KISU while Dylan Carder and Brandon Baney will call the game on ESPN +. 

Montana State has won the last five meetings. Idaho State's last win was 101-78 in Bozeman on Jan. 1, 2018 and its last win in Pocatello was was 76-69 on Feb. 27, 2016.

Crashing the Boards 
Idaho State has won the battle of the boards each season with Ryan Looney has head coach. Last season ISU out rebounded opponents 36.1-29.9. In the 2019-20 season the Bengals out rebounded teams 32.9-32.1. In the season opener vs. Eastern Oregon, the Bengals won the rebounding battle, 35-28.

This year opponents are outrebounding ISU 34.3-32.1

Breaking the Streak
Idaho State's 23 point win over Montana was the first win over the Griz in 22 attempts. Liam Sorensen had a career-high 19 points, six rebounds and played a career-best 38 minutes. The guardline of Sorensen and Tarik Cool combined for 15 assists. Malik Porter's 20 points tied his season-high and his two double-doubles this year came against Montana.
