POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's basketball team lost 72-54 to Montana State on Monday evening in Reed Gym.
The Bengals never led in the game and trailed by as many as 27 points in the second half.
Idaho State shot 26 percent in the first half and 38 in the second, good for a percentage of 31.8 percent for the game.
Montana State shot 55.1 percent for the game and was 14-23 from the field in the second half.
Tarik Cool had 11 points while
Malik Porter and
Brayden Parker each had 10. The Bengals were out rebounded 33-29.
Idaho State plays at Idaho on Feb. 10 and at Eastern Washington on Feb. 12.
