POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State women's tennis team picked up a 6-1 win over Eastern Washington on Friday evening in Reed Gym.
The Bengals earned the doubles point thanks to
Hana Cho and
Leah Kuruvilla winning 6-4 at No. 1 doubles and
Megan Lang-Gould and
Alexandra Arkhipov winning 6-2 at No. 3 doubles.
In singles play, Cho won 7-5, 6-4 at No. 1 singles while Lang-Gould picked up a 6-4, 2-6, 6-2 win at the No. 2 position.

The match ended with Arkhipov battling to a 6-4, 6-7, 10-8 win.
"Today I knew would be tough because Eastern has done well so far," Idaho State coach
Gretchen Maloney said. "I knew we would have to play pretty clean an in doubles we barely got it. It was the difference in a couple points. We played well on the big points. In singles, the girls had a tone of momentum and all were willing to work the point and be clean at the right time. Hana came back at No. 1 singles. She was down 5-2 and figured out a way to win. I am super proud of their effort. It was a great overall team win. Everyone contributed and everyone got a win."
Idaho State s 6-3 and now travels to Arizona for a 3 p.m. match at Grand Canyon on Monday, March 21.
The Bengals then play Quaz on March 22 and are at NAU on March 23. ISU plays at Arizona Christen on March 24 before closing out the road trip at Sacramento State on March 26.
