The Orange and Black scored two more runs in the third off of another Cargill Hit and a Morgan Hess single to left field. Headed into the fourth the Bengals had a 7-3 lead.

In the fifth, the wind helped the wildcats to close the gap. With very strong winds pushing over the left field wall, the Wildcats took advantage and hit three homeruns that sailed past the Berm on the left side of the field, tying the game 9-9.

The Bengal offense didn't waste any time. In the bottom of the fifth, Cargill reached on a single to center, and Angelica Cano and Sethman were walked. Frankie Tago came up to bat again and hit a two-RBI single to left field, letting the Bengals retake the lead at 11-9 for the final time in the game.

The sixth inning proved to be the decider as Weber would go on to score eight runs and take a 17-11 lead. A lead they would hold onto through seven for the final and the win.
