POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's tennis team lost 4-3 to NAU on Saturday afternoon at the Aquatic and Tennis Complex in Flagstaff, Ariz.
The Bengals won the doubles point thanks to a 6-3 win by
Patrik Trhac and
Aleksandar Petrovic at the No. 1 position. At No. 3 doubles,
Ege Cankus and
Hiroki Fujitawon 6-4.
In singles play, NAU won at the three, four, five and six positions. Trhac won 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 at No. 1 singles and
Patrick Kristensen won 7-6, 6-3 at the No. 2 spot.
Idaho State heads the conference tournament next Thursday in Phoenix.
