POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's tennis team defeated Portland State 6-1 on Friday afternoon in Reed Gym.
The Bengals won the doubles point thanks to a 6-2 win by
Ege Cankus and
Hiroki Fujita and a forfeit at No. 3 doubles by Portland State.
In singles play,
Patrik Trhac won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and
Patrick Kristensen won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 3 singles.
At No. 4 singles,
Andreas Kramer won 6-1, 6-3 and
Ege Cankus won 6-1, 6-1. Portland State also forfeited the match at No. 6 singles.
Idaho State returns to the court for a match at Lewis-Clark on April 14 and the University of Idaho on April 15.
