POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's basketball team was recognized for its academic success by the NABC. The team received the Academic Achievement Award and six individuals were named to the NABC Honors Court.
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize men's basketball programs that completed the 2021-22 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2021-22 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
The NABC's academic awards include honorees from all levels of college basketball.
This past year the men's program finished with a team GPA of 3.16. ISU was one of 60 Division 1 schools to receive this honor.
The Bengals named to the Honors Court was

Gedeon Buzangu, James Carlson,
Jared Rodriguez and Robert Ford.
