The Bengals started the day with a four-set victory over the UNLV Rebels (16-25, 25-19, 25-17, 25-21), handing the Rebels just their second loss of the season.  After dropping the first set, the Bengals surged back to sweep the final three sets of the match and claim the victory.

The Bengals were outkilled 51-48 in the match, but the Rebels committed twice as many errors (33-16) and the Bengals jumped on the advantage to claim victory.

Later this evening, the Bengals competed in a neck and neck battle with the Utah Tech Trailblazers. After competing for five sets, the Bengals fell in extra points (25-23, 15-25, 23-25, 25-19, 15-17). The Bengals looked to tie the match at 16-16 in the fifth before the officials called a carry and ended the match awarding the point to Utah Tech.

Coach Carter's Thoughts

"We blocked and served great against UNLV and girls did an amazing job executing our scouting report. Holding a team that good with that much talent to what we did was the best defensive accomplishment of the season"
