POCATELLO, Idaho – After another road trip, the Idaho State Bengal soccer team returns home to Davis Field this Sunday to take on the NAU Lumberjacks. Kickoff is set for 1:00 PM.
The match will be broadcast on ESPN+ and Live Stats will be available for the contest.
This will be the 27th meeting of the two programs. NAU currently holds a 15-8-3 series advantage.
The Lumberjacks are 1-4-4 this season with their lone win coming off of a Big Sky record-breaking thrashing of Ottawa 11-0 on Sept. 15.
NAU has not played any Big Sky Conference matches so far this season. Their matches with Weber State on Thursday and the Bengals on Sunday will be the first.
Despite their record, the Lumberjacks have outscored opponents 18-11 averaging 2.00 goals per game.
NAU averages 19.9 shots per game with 44 percent being on goal.
NAU has played three keepers this year in goal. Trinity Corcoran and Ashley Williams have combined for the most matches played. The Keeping staff has combined for a .744 save percentage with 11 goals allowed and 32 saves.
Looking Ahead
After Sunday, The Bengals travel to the west coach to take on Portland State and Sacramento State. Then, The Bengals return home for the final three matches of the regular season.
