OGDEN, Utah - The Idaho State soccer team finished up their final match on the season this weekend. Taking on Weber State in Ogden.
The Bengals looked to get started early and put the Wildcats in their rear-view mirrors, but unfortunately for Idaho State, the Wildcats came to play. Although WSU had already been eliminated from playoff contention, they did not play like it, opening the scoring in the 36
th minute of the match, and taking a 1-0 lead into halftime. As the Bengals looked to answer in the second half they could not produce much, only able to take 4 shots on goal all match. As the final minutes drew to a close the Wildcats capitalized on Idaho State's last-minute desperation attempts as they scored 2 goals in the final four minutes, winning the match 3-0.
