Bengals Go on a California Road Trip to Take on San Diego, CSU Fullerton, & UCLA

POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State Bengals men's basketball team will be back on the road for the second time this season, this time for a three-game California road trip. The Bengals first stop will be in San Diego, CA, where they will play the University of San Diego on Saturday, Nov. 16th. Next up will be Cal State Fullerton on Monday, Nov. 18th, and the Bengals will wrap it all up with a big one at UCLA on Wednesday, Nov. 20th. This will be Idaho State's first-ever meeting against San Diego, however the Bengals are 1-1 All-Time vs. CSUF, and 1-3 All-Time vs. UCLA. Idaho State's lone win vs. UCLA coming in the 1976 NCAA Tournament, where ISU advanced from the Sweet Sixteen to the Elite Eight at a 76-75 victory.
 
Idaho State's games at San Diego and CSU Fullerton will be streamed on ESPN+ while their game at UCLA will be on the BIG10 Network. Scott Gross will call the Bengals' games at CSUF and UCLA on KISU.

The University of San Diego enters their contest versus Idaho State with a 1-2 overall record, all of their games being played at home. Their latest contest was an 85-76 loss to fellow Big Sky Conference team, Portland State. San Diego's lone win this season came against Boston University, as USD would defeat the Terriers, 74-60. In San Diego's first game of the season, they would fall to Rider by 1, 68-67.

Cal State Fullerton has opened their season 0-3, as they had a tough opening week of play, falling to Grand Canyon, Stanford, and Colorado all on the road by double digits. CSUF's next opportunity to get a win before facing the Bengals will be on Friday, Nov. 15th at Oregon State.
 
UCLA (2-1)
Home (2-0), Away (0-0), Neutral (0-1)
 
UCLA has started their season 2-1, earning victories over Rider and Boston U at home by double-digits. Their lone loss on the season coming to New Mexico in a neutral site game in Henderson, Nevada. UCLA will face off with Lehigh on Friday, Nov. 15th to see if they can add another win to the win column before facing off against Idaho State.
