Bengals Back on the Road for Final Two-Game Stretch of Conference Play

ISU looks to sweep SAC in a season for the first time since 2014

Pocatello, ID – It's been a rough go for the Bengals in the last few weeks, but they look to rebound from their 3-game losing streak as they still remain top contenders in Big Sky volleyball.

The Bengals will head on the road for their Thursday night rematch against Sacramento State, looking for their first 2 game sweep of the Hornets since 2014. In a pivotal match that will shuffle the conference standings, this match figures to be a heavyweight bout, featuring two of the top teams in the Big Sky. This match is scheduled for this Thursday, November 21st at 8:00 PM.

Following this monumental match, the Bengals will head North for their second rematch of the week. This game will feature the Portland State Vikings in yet another crucial face-off in regard to conference standings. The two teams are slated to play this Saturday, November 23rd at 8:00 PM.

#4 Caitlin Volkmann, Senior – Volkmann has had a strong offensive output this season sitting at 3rd in conference in kills (386) and 2nd in total points (442.5). She also ranks 4th in total service aces with 36.

Both Biesemeyer and White have been incredibly efficient this season sitting at 3rdt and 25th in conference in hitting percentage. Biesemeyer has 134 kills (.331) while White has recorded 180 kills (.345).
# 12 Ella Hartford, Senior – Hartford currently sits at 4th in conference in total assists (761) and has served as the backbone to the Viking's offense. She also leads her team in service aces with 25.
