Bengals Fall to Hornets in Big Sky Semi-Finals

Sacramento, California - The Idaho State Bengals fell 3-0 to the Sacramento State Hornets on Thursday night.
 
The best season in years has culminated in a semi-final appearance for the orange and black after they were defeated by Sacramento State on Thanksgiving night.
 
The loss to the Hornets marks the first loss to the Hornets this season for Idaho State, the Bengals were searching for their first three-win season over a single opponent since 2014 against NAU and Southern Utah.
 
Offensively, Idaho State was led by Sadie Bluth with eight kills. The defense was led by Asiah Sopo'aga totaling 13 digs, surpassing the 1,450 career digs mark in the match.
 
Sacramento State advances to the Big Sky Tournament Title match tomorrow night against the top seed, Northern Colorado.
