Pocatello, Idaho — Idaho State University Athletics proudly announces the unveiling of the newly renovated Jared Allen Strength and Conditioning Center with an open house event scheduled for Friday, June 21, at 1:30 P.M. (MST).
Thanks to the transformational support of an anonymous donor, the half-million dollar renovation of the weight room will now feature PLAE Achieve flooring — the toughest floor in the world — as well as PLAE equipment. Highlighting the project are sixteen custom ICONx racks which are engineered for performance and allow the sports performance staff to maximize the space inside the weight room. This partnership allows Idaho State University to boast itself as the only weight room in the Big Sky Conference fully outfitted with PLAE flooring and gear placing ISU amongst the likes of top FBS institutions and professional organizations.
Alumni, fans, and community members alike are invited to attend the event and hear remarks from Director of Athletics, Pauline Thiros, Head Football Coach, Cody Hawkins, and Assistant Athletic Director of Sports Performance, Brandon Stephens, followed by exclusive access to the newly reimagined space featuring the state-of-the-art equipment.
