Idaho State Men's Basketball has added another player to its roster for the 2024-25 season as Head Coach
Ryan Looney has announced the signing of graduate transfer, Connor Hollenbeck, Thursday afternoon.

Hollenbeck is a 6-7 forward originally out of Rapid City, South Dakota who comes to ISU from Minot State University. Hollenbeck led the Beavers in rebounding last season at 7 rebounds per game, and was second on the team in scoring, averaging 11.8 points per game while shooting .462 from the field, .307 from three-point range, and .776 at the free throw line. Following the 2023-24 season Connor was named to the all-conference second team, and Minot State would finish 20-9 overall and 15-7 in conference play. During his two years at MSU, Hollenbeck would average 10.7 points on 48.8% shooting from the field and 34.9% from deep, 6.4 rebounds, 2 assists, and .7 blocks in 28.4 minutes per game.

"We could not be more excited about the addition of Connor Hollenbeck." said Looney. "He has played 2,434 minutes of college basketball, and is a skilled forward with a lot of experience. He will be a difficult matchup for opponents in the Big Sky."

Hollenbeck began his collegiate career at the North Dakota State College of Science, a junior college in Wahpeton, North Dakota. Where in two seasons Hollenbeck would average 8.7 points on 54.1% shooting from the floor and 40.3% from three-point territory, 6.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1 steal in 22.1 minutes per game.

The Bengals have now signed nine newcomers for the 2024-25 season. Idaho State returns two letterwinners and two redshirts from this past season. ISU was 14-20 overall and 7-11 in conference play during the 2024-25 season, while reaching the Big Sky Tournament Semifinals for the first time since the 2008-09 season.
