POCATELLO, Idaho – The Bengals soccer team will return to Idaho, following their two-match road trip in Colorado, to face off with the Boise State Broncos. The Bengals will play in Boise for the first time since 2018. The Broncos, selected to be T-3
rd in the Mountain West pre-season poll, have won the last four meetings in a row vs. Idaho State and have not lost to the Bengals since 2013.

- Boise State is coming off of a 2023 season that saw the Broncos go 11-4-6 and 8-2-1 in conference.
- Boise State opened their 2024 season with a 2-1 win over Portland State at home
- The Broncos returns their top two producers from last season, #23 Kenzie MacMillian & #8 Carly Cross. MacMillian scored 10 goals in 2023 with 96 shots and 27 points, with 40 shots on goal, and Cross scored 9 goals in 2023 with 63 shots and 23 points, with 33 shots on goal.
- The Broncos bring back their keeper, #0 Genevieve Crenshaw, in 2023 Crenshaw started all 21 games for the team. Allowing just 20 goals, a .95 average, and finished the season with 94 saves for a .825 save percentage.

Big Sky Opener
The Bengals will compete in nine matches before the start of 2024 Big Sky Conference play. Following their match at Boise State, the Orange and Black will be returning home to host Oregon State for their first home match of the season. On Sept. 29
th, Idaho State hosts the University of Northern Colorado Bears in their first conference match of the season.
Next Up at Home
The Bengals home opener will be on Wednesday, Aug. 28
th as the Oregon State Beavers come to Pocatello for an evening match at Davis Field at 6:00 p.m. It will be the 2
nd ever meeting between the two programs. The first coming all the way back in 1998 when the Beavers defeated the Bengals 1-0 in Corvallis, OR.
