Idaho State’s Watts and Bell Earn Big Sky All-Conference Second Team Honors

Idaho State Volleyball earned two selections to the 2025 Big Sky All-Conference Second Team, as junior middle blocker Jaydin Watts and senior middle blocker and team captain Marci Bell were both recognized among the league's top performers following standout seasons that placed them among the best in the Big Sky and across the NCAA.

Jaydin Watts – Big Sky All-Conference Second Team

Watts produced the most efficient offensive season ever by an Idaho State middle blocker. The junior finished the year with a .387 hitting percentage, establishing a new Idaho State single-season program record and marking the 8th-highest single-season hitting percentage in Big Sky Conference history. Her efficiency was also recognized nationally, as she ranked 36th in the NCAA in hitting percentage.

Across 98 sets, Watts totaled 224 kills, 113 total blocks, and averaged 1.16 blocks per set, ranking 3rd in the Big Sky and 5th in total blocks. Her consistency made her one of the conference's most dependable front-row presences, delivering 14 double-digit kill performances throughout the season, including a season-high 19 kills in the road victory at Wyoming.

Marci Bell – Big Sky All-Conference Second Team

A senior captain and foundation of Idaho State's interior defense, Bell capped her career with a dominant season in the middle. Bell led the Big Sky in blocks per set (1.31) and total blocks (136), ranking 39th nationally in blocks per set and 19th in the NCAA in total blocks. She matched Watts with 224 kills, hit .281, and led ISU with 311.5 total points, appearing in 109 sets.

Bell's performance added to a historic career. She concludes her four years at Idaho State ranked T-4th all-time in career hitting percentage (.296), 7th in solo blocks (74), 9th in block assists (306), and 8th in total blocks (380), solidifying her place as one of the best middle blockers in program history.
