Paige Harris has been named one of the top Big Sky breakout candidates to watch for in the upcoming 2025 season by

Harris, one of nine chosen from the Big Sky Conference by the article's author, Victor Olorunfemi, led the team in goals scored last season, with three, and taking the second most attempts on goal, with 10.
Paige Harris will enter her sophomore year at Idaho State in the upcoming 2025-26 school year, and looks to build off her excellent freshman campaign, telling us, "This upcoming season, a goal for me is to stay true to my style of play while continuing to learn new skills to advance my game."
"With the fall and spring seasons now behind us, Paige, just a freshman last year, has proven she has the ability to consistently create goal-scoring opportunities at this level", shares Dustin Downey, the Head Coach of Idaho State who will be entering his fourth season at the helm in Pocatello. "We expect her to continue to show up on the scoresheet for us in the upcoming 2025 season! With these recognitions comes added pressure to perform, but I think Paige is up to the challenge, and I look forward to seeing her compete for the Bengals this fall."
Speaking on the challenges that may come with more eyes looming on Harris this upcoming season, Paige would say, "I don't believe there is added pressure to perform… If anything my freshman season has motivated me to make my upcoming sophomore season even better. If I am putting the work in and always giving my 100%, I will achieve great results."
Paige Harris leads a strong Bengal sophomore class into 2025, as she was one of five different freshman players who saw 625 minutes or more last season.
Bengal soccer will look to open their upcoming 2025 season on August 5
th at Davis Field with their Orange vs. Black scrimmage. The full 2025 Idaho State Soccer schedule will be released in the coming week.
