Bengals Announce 2025-26 Big Sky Conference Slate

POCATELLO, Idaho – The Big Sky Conference released its full 2025-26 women's basketball schedule Monday, unveiling Idaho State's 18-game league slate that features nine home contests inside Reed Gym and two rivalry matchups with both Weber State and Idaho.

The Bengals open the new year on the road, visiting Sacramento State (Jan. 1) and Portland State (Jan. 3) before returning to Pocatello to host Northern Colorado (Jan. 8) and Northern Arizona (Jan. 10) in their Big Sky home-opening weekend.

ISU's first rivalry test comes Jan. 15 in Moscow against Idaho, followed by a Jan. 17 stop at Eastern Washington. The Bengals return home to host Montana State (Jan. 22) and Montana (Jan. 24), continuing a pivotal stretch through the heart of the league standings.

Weber State visits Reed Gym on Jan. 31 in a Saturday showdown, giving fans a marquee rivalry contest to close the month. The Bengals also host Portland State (Feb. 2), Eastern Washington (Feb. 12), and Idaho (Feb. 14) in February, with a Valentine's Day tilt against the Vandals.

Road trips to Northern Arizona (Feb. 5), Northern Colorado (Feb. 7), Montana (Feb. 19), and Montana State (Feb. 21) round out the late-season travel before ISU wraps up Big Sky play with a trip to Weber State (Feb. 28) and a Senior Day finale at home against Sacramento State (Mar. 2).

The 2025 Big Sky Basketball Championships are set for March 7–11 at Idaho Central Arena in Boise, where all 10 conference programs will compete for the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Idaho State will also participate in the third annual Big Sky–Summit Challenge, set for Wednesday, Dec. 3 and Saturday, Dec. 6. Matchups and game times for that event, along with the Bengals' full non-conference schedule, will be announced at a later date.
