Bengals Earn Pair of 5–2 Wins Over North Dakota and Utah Tech

ST. GEORGE, Utah – The Idaho State women's tennis team earned two victories over the weekend in St. Goerge, Utah, defeating North Dakota 5–2 in a neutral-site match before earning a 5–2 road win at Utah Tech on Sunday. Doubles play against Utah Tech began Saturday, Feb. 14, with singles completed Sunday afternoon following the Bengals' match against North Dakota.

Match 1 – Idaho State 5, North Dakota 2

Doubles

Idaho State opened the weekend by securing the doubles point with wins on courts one and two.

Singles

The Bengals clinched the neutral-site victory with four singles wins across the lineup.

  • No. 2 Singles: Stefanya Shalakhova (ISU) def. Jule Schulte (UND), 6–3, 6–3
