PHOENIX, Arizona – The Idaho State men's tennis team opened the Big Sky Conference Championships with a dominant 4–0 victory over No. 6 seed Sacramento State on Thursday morning at the Phoenix Tennis Center. The No. 3 seeded Bengals improve to 11–9 overall and advance to the semifinal round.
"It was a good win by the guys today", shared Head Coach, Oliver Good. "We'll now recover and get ready for Montana tomorrow."

Doubles
Idaho State came out sharp in doubles play, securing the opening point with wins on courts one and two to take early control of the quarterfinal matchup.
Singles
The Bengals carried that momentum into singles play, winning three courts to clinch the match and secure advancement to the semifinals.
- No. 1 Singles: Valentino De Pellegrin defeated Freddie Healey, 6–3, 3–6, 6–3.
- No. 2 Singles: Sep de Visser defeated Nick Bowles, 7–6 (7-1), 6–4.
- No. 3 Singles: Hayden Ciguenza defeated Doni Gashi, 6–3, 6–4.
- No. 4 Singles: Sam Wensley vs. David Dai, unfinished (4–6, 6–3, 4–0).
- No. 5 Singles: Rafael Maya vs. Sebastian Vlahos, unfinished (7–5, 3–2).
- No. 6 Singles: Quentin Lamothe vs. Yoav Levy, unfinished (6–0, 1–6, 0–2).
